I’m not sure why, but I wanted to read the story of my Wise One’s heart procedure.
And I wanted to read it aloud at the Matthias Building.
The sun had just set. I imagined sitting above Main Street until I saw the lamp next to the Genessee Street windows.
It’s a rough beginning, full of unworked edits, but it is a beginning.
