The peculiarities of life, no matter how grand or small, never seem to not amaze me. My latest revelation in this regard is my two week break from writing.

Just when I am thoroughly enjoying the application of creativity to such endeavors as frying bacon or arranging roses in teacups while reading s presidential autobiography, my brain is writing a story which I cannot hardly wait to write!

I pray for such daily inspirations in the new year!

(I had become intrigued with President George Bush when I earlier read of his paintings. His book is a surprising and fascinating look at a life).
